17/08/23 – Birmingham

Students at BOA Group are thrilled to celebrate outstanding A level and BTEC results today.

BOA Group, who represent students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, have said students’ results are a testament to their dedication and hard work.

Students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy have achieved remarkable results, with a 100% pass rate, 99% of students achieving high grades (Distinction or better), and 81% achieving the top possible grade combination of Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction* in their chosen pathway. In addition, 91% of students studying additional A’level option subjects or equivalent achieved a grade C or above.

Following their two-year course, they will go onto higher education, apprenticeships or straight into full time employment.

Students will be well equipped to pursue careers in film, television, video, sound, experience (VR, AR, 360), visual communication, digital media, marketing & promotion, live media events, and other technical media-related disciplines.

The creative industries generate £108 billion a year and employ over 2.3 million people in the country.

With growing technological advances and more production companies moving to the midlands, students at BOA Stage and Screen will help bridge the skills shortage in the production industry, both in Birmingham and further afield.

Kate Tague, Chief Executive of the BOA Group, said:

"We couldn't be prouder of our students' exceptional achievements in their A Level and BTEC results. Their resilience, creativity, and ability to excel in their chosen fields have been truly remarkable. At our academies, we provide an environment that encourages students to explore their creative passions while also equipping them with essential skills and knowledge across various subjects. We wish all our students the very best in their future endeavours, whether it be continuing their education or stepping straight into industry roles."

The efforts of students and teachers have been instrumental in these extraordinary accomplishments.

BOA Group have said these results are testament to their “unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence, which have made these achievements possible”.
