BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy is thrilled to announce their outstanding A Level and BTEC results.
Students have achieved remarkable results, with 93% of students achieving Distinction, Distinction, Distinction and above (equivalent to AAA at A Level) in their chosen Level 3 arts pathway course. 52% of students achieved Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction and above (equivalent to A*A*A at A Level). Alongside this, students who chose to study an additional A Level subject alongside the BTEC qualification have secured excellent results, with 100% (A to E) pass rate and 82% (A to C) pass rate.
At BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy, students attend from ages 14 - 19 so that they can specialise in a creative pathway. The pathways students can choose from are Acting, Dance, Games Design & New Media, Music, Music Technology, Musical Theatre and Visual Art & Design.
Alongside their creative pathway, students can choose additional A-Levels to study including subjects such as English, History and Mathematics.
Whilst studying with us, students have the opportunity to perform in the local, national and international creative arts community.
Alistair Chattaway, Principal of BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts, said: “We are rightly proud of our students’ achievements and wish them every success as they leave BOA to pursue a wide and varied range of university courses, vocational training programmes and employment opportunities. Whereas BOA is predominantly known for its Arts courses – and congratulations to Alex from Year 13 Musical Theatre who was awarded a coveted scholarship from The Stage this year – it is also important to mention the successes of students who will move on to different pathways.”
“Oscar from Year 13 Acting will study History at the University of Oxford and Darcie from Year 13 Musical Theatre, who achieved two A* grades in the A Levels she studies alongside the BTEC course, will start a Law degree in September. I am so pleased that students are able to follow their passion for the Arts at BOA but are also able to diversify into other areas of academia.”
BOA Group, who represent the academy said, ‘these excellent results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our students and teaching staff’.
BOA’s extensive opportunities and resources have empowered students to reach their full potential and surpass expectations.
Kate Tague, Chief Executive of the BOA Group, said: “I am immensely proud of our students' incredible achievements. These remarkable BTEC and A Level results come as a direct consequence of their dedication and commitment to their studies, combined with the relentless hard work and excellent teaching standards provided by our staff. These young adults will be ready to take on the creative industries and we can’t wait to see what their future holds. Well done everyone!”
