Students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy are thrilled to celebrate outstanding A-Level and BTEC results today.

BOA Group, who represent students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, have said students’ results are a testament to their commitment, dedication and hard work.

Students at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy have achieved remarkable results, including all students passing their BTEC Level qualifications. 96% passed with high grades of DiDiDi (equivalent to AAA at A Level), and 82% of students passed with a maximum possible grade of D*D*D* (equivalent to three A*s at A Level). In addition, all students passed their additional A Level subject with a grade D or better.

Following their two-year course, they have all secured progression onto higher education, apprenticeships, training or straight into full time employment.

Students will be well prepared to pursue careers in film, television, video, sound, experience (VR, AR, 360), visual communication, digital media, marketing & promotion, live media events, and other technical media-related disciplines.

The creative industries generate £108 billion a year and employ over 2.3 million people nationally. As technological advances continue and more production companies moving to the Midlands, students at BOA Stage and Screen will help bridge the skills shortage in the production industry, both in Birmingham and further afield.

Michael Painter, Principal of BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, said: “We are overjoyed to be celebrating a second year of truly exceptional achievements for our learners. The extraordinary results they have achieved in their qualifications this year stand testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students. We are immensely proud of everything our learners have achieved, and most importantly that they are all now progressing into the talent pipeline in region and further afield.”

“Thank you to all the teachers, support team and the wide range of industry partners who have tutored, coached, and mentored these young people on their journey of self-discovery and development. It has been just three years since we opened, and with this in mind it feels fantastic to now be able to celebrate a second year of exceptional results!”

Kate Tague, Chief Executive of the BOA Group, said: "We couldn't be prouder of our students' exceptional achievements in their A Level and BTEC results. Their resilience, creativity, and ability to excel in their chosen fields have been truly remarkable. At our academies, we provide an environment that encourages students to explore their creative passions while also equipping them with essential skills and knowledge across various subjects. We wish all our students the very best in their future endeavours, whether it be continuing their education or stepping straight into industry roles."

The efforts and hard work of students and teachers have been instrumental in these extraordinary accomplishments.

BOA Group have said these results are testament to their “unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence, which have made these achievements possible”.
